SUMMARY:Workshop: Towards a circular economy through reduction\, reuse & recovery of raw materials
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to invite you to the workshop “Towards a circular economy through reduction\, reuse & recovery of raw materials“\, which will take place on 27 September 2019 in Kuopio\, at the University of Eastern Finland. It is a joint workshop of the EIT RawMaterials innovation project Morecovery led by GTK and SEXUM project funded by the Academy of Finland and led by UEF. \nMorecovery “Modular recovery process services for hydrometallurgy and water treatment” is an innovation project in raw materials with the focus on the development of comprehensive recovery service\, (from laboratory to pilot scale) and assessment of recovery potential of selected critical raw materials from solid and liquid side streams. \nSEXUM project is devoted to advanced technologies for sustainable exploitation of uranium-bearing mineral resources\, specifically to the characterisation of uraniferous polymetallic mineral deposits\, process development to manage uranium during mineral processing and methods development for uranium removal and recovery from waste and side streams. \nThe workshop is free of charge.
