SUMMARY:Short Course: Stratiform deposits - exploration techniques\, data analysis and interpretation\, geological modelling\, resource calculation
DESCRIPTION:Context of the Course\nAGH will organize a short course dedicated to the stratiform deposits\, with the main focuse on exploration techniques\, data analysis and interpretation\, geological modelling\, resource calculation and selected social and environmental issues related to exploration. \nThe software MineScape is a geological modelling and mine planning solution within Datamine’s suite of mining software. From nickel mining in Russia\, platinum group metals mining in South Africa\, to coal mining in Poland and Indonesia\, MineScape provides mining operations worldwide with a suite of integrated solutions designed for both open pit and underground mines for coal and metalliferous deposits. \nThe course will be led by Władysław Zygo (AGH) and Andrzej Gądek (Varid Sp. z o.o.\, mining consultant\, MinesScape software expert) and will take place from the 14th October until 18th October 2020. \nVenue\nAGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków \nDate\n14th-18th October\, 2020 \nContact\nM.Sc.
