SUMMARY:4th International Conference on Sustainable Design and Manufacturing
DESCRIPTION:4th International Conference on Sustainable Design and Manufacturing (SDM 2017) will consist of keynote talks\, oral presentations\, invited sessions and workshops. It will cover the theory and applications of sustainable design and manufacturing\, and related areas\, whilst providing an excellent platform for the presentation and discussion of new data and concepts\, leading to knowledge exchange and the generation of new ideas. \nEIT RawMaterials will attend SDM 2017 and will be present with a booth. \nOn 28 April a Round Table dedicated to the Transformative Approach applied to Raw Materials Engineering for a Sustainable World will be held from 14:00 to 16:30.\nThe Transformative Approach applied to Raw Material Engineering helps the application of study and research to support design and management in many sectors (i.e. automotive\, buildings and construction\, waste management and recycling\, etc.) adopting a Life Cycle thinking approach and a circular economy and secondary raw materials valorization strategy. \nFloriana La Marca\, CLC South Education Officer of EIT RawMaterials\, will participate in the Round Table. \nFor more information\, please chek the official website of the event. \n  \n
