EIT RawMaterials at 6th BDI Raw Material Conference

Digitisation and raw materials supply are closely intertwined. Without high-tech raw materials, there will be no future technologies “Made in Germany”. The availability of raw materials is thus becoming a central challenge for Germany as an industrial country.
At the 6th “BDI Raw Material Conference” on 3 July 2018 you will have the opportunity to discuss with BDI President Prof. Dieter Kempf, Federal Minister of Economic Affairs and Energy Peter Altmaier, CEO of Ivanhoe Mines Ltd Robert Friedland, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Canadian Ministry of Natural Resources Karen Rudd and other representatives from politics, industry, science and civil society, how a secure, responsible and sustainable supply of raw materials can look like.
The exhibition in the atrium offers exciting insights into the world of raw materials. Four side events expand the thematic spectrum of the Raw Material Conference.
