DESCRIPTION:An event to celebrate the achievements of the EIT Community on Circular Economy & to share with the public our plans for future activities.\nDo you want to know more about the circular economy community in Europe? Want to know more about our future plans for action in this area?\nThe EIT Community on Circular Economy is pleased to invite to our celebration event which will be dedicated to the showcase of our current activities and future plans\, with opportunities for collaboration. The event\, which will be both in person for stakeholders and open to the public online\, is held in collaboration with the five participating EIT Innovation Communities in the key sectors of raw materials\, food\, manufacturing\, climate and urban mobility. \nThe event – physically held at the EIT House in Brussels and open to online participation – will be dedicated to the showcase of the EIT Community on Circular Economy current activities and future plans\, including opportunities for collaboration. \nThe programme for the event includes: \n10:00-10:10 Welcome and overview of the morning session – Tommaso Emiliani\, EIT Food \n10:10-10:25 The strategic importance of the EIT Community on Circular Economy within the EIT ecosystem – Manuel Irun Molina\, EIT (online) \n10:25-10:45 The Circular Economy Action Plan and the European Commission work ahead – Emmanuelle Marie\, European Commission DG Environment \n10:45-11:00 Overview of the EIT Community on Circular Economy activities – Ignacio Calleja\, EIT RawMaterials \n11:00-11:15 Break \n11:15 – 12:30 Award Ceremony of Circular Economy Prizes including short pitches from four winners – Andrea Dahik\, EIT RawMaterials & Martin Snejider\, EIT Climate + pitches from prize winners. \nWe look forward to meeting you and build together the most disruptive circular community in Europe! \nRegister here
