SUMMARY:CICERONE workshop: Funding the circular economy in Europe
DESCRIPTION:CICERONE is pleased to announce it’s the second workshop\, “Funding the circular economy”\, on 19-20 November 2019 in Berlin\, Germany. \nThe two-day event will gather circular economy actors from governments (national\, regional\, city)\, policymakers\, businesses and academia\, to jointly work on ways to improve circular economy financing in Europe. \nThe first day of the event (19 November)\, organised by Berlin Partner\, will offer an organised tour of circular economy projects in Berlin\, providing an excellent opportunity for attendees to learn about – and experience -concrete initiatives in the city. This will be followed by a visit of the Weißensee Academy of Art and networking drinks in the evening. \nThe second day (20 November) will be dedicated to a hands-on workshop that will aim to: \n\nValidate circular economy key objectives and innovation fields at European level\nChallenge and validate the policy toolkit for circular economy financing\nDevelop and test a joint programming platform for funders of circular economy programmes\n\nThe workshop will be hosted in the innovative and dynamic Motion Lab spaces. \nClick here to download our Save the Date. \nRegistrations and a detailed agenda will open in September.
