SUMMARY:Best Young Scientist Challenge 2020
DESCRIPTION:In the constant search for innovative ideas\, Eramet\, an international mining and metallurgical group\, wants to support the talents of tomorrow by encouraging young scientists in their research work. Thus\, Eramet is launching its first thesis competition in the field of extractive metallurgy\, a field that is at the heart of the Group’s challenges. \nTerms of participation\n\nThis thesis competition on an extractive metallurgy subject is open to all young scientists who have defended or plan to defend their thesis between September 1\, 2019\, and September 30\, 2020. They are realizing or will have realized their work in a European university or laboratory. \nThe competition is divided into two phases. \nFirst phase: \nThe participants will have to submit on the platform\, in English\, in pdf format: \n– Their CV containing the list of publications and conferences to which they presented their PhD work\n– A summary of their thesis including the plan of the thesis\, in 7 pages maximum\n– One of their publications which has been published in a scientific journal\n\nPlease register here! You have until January 17 at 17:00 CET to participate!\n\nSecond phase:\n\nThe 5 participants who have presented the best theses will be invited to present their work to the jury during an oral examination.
