SUMMARY:EIT RawMaterials at 9th European Innovation Summit
DESCRIPTION:The 9th European Innovation Summit will take place during the week 27 November – 1 December in and around the European Parliament in Brussels\, Belgium\, in the context of the first ever European Innovation Week. \n2017 is an important year for the future of innovation in Europe and preparations for the next Multiannual Financial Framework have started\, part of which is the next Framework Programme for Research and Innovation. At the same time\, it is an opportunity to reflect on how we can innovate more intelligently by making better use of available knowledge and resources. On the verticals\, the debates must focus on concrete solutions addressing major challenges for which we need more innovations than ever. \nEIT RawMaterials at the 9th European Innovation Summit \nOn 29 November\, Dr Karen Hanghøj\, CEO at EIT RawMaterials\, will participate in the plenary session on the Future of Research and Innovation. Dr Karen Hanghøj\, Dr Kirsten Dunlop\, CEO at Climate-KIC\, and Prof Dr Willem Jonker\, CEO at EIT Digital\, will share the EIT role in driving and fostering innovation. \nTeam members of EIT RawMaterials will attend the Summit.
