2nd iDeepMon User Workshop

Within the European innovation network EIT RawMaterials, an innovative system for automated, remote controlled inspection of mine shafts is under development in a project named iDeepMon. This will support the regular visual shaft inspection, which is an operational and legal requirement, by capturing objective measurement data; in the long-term, iDeepMon has the capability to replace visual inspection.

The iDeepMon team is interested in open discussion with all stakeholders for whom the safe operation of shafts is of relevance. The team will present the project idea, the current status of development as well as planned further steps to achieve the targets, followed by an open discussion with all workshop participants. The target of the workshop is to jointly discuss the relevant operational and legal requirements and to ascertain how the new technologies can contribute to making shaft operations more safe and reliable.

Registration

Participation in the workshop “Innovative Shaft Inspection” is free of charge. Registration can easily be done in conjunction with registration for the conference “Bergbau, Energie und Rohstoffe” via the registration form (online or by post). Single registration for the workshop is also possible.
