SUMMARY:6th Greek Raw Materials Community Dialogue
DESCRIPTION:EIT RawMaterials Hub – Regional Center Greece is pleased to invite you to participate in the 6th Greek Raw Materials Community Dialogue that will take place on 7-8 December 2021 online. \nThe Greek Raw Materials Community Dialogue is an established annual event since 2016 and aims to bring together the industry (large and SME)\, the governance (national and regional)\, academia and research institutes of Greece along with executive European organisations of the Raw Materials sector as members of the EIT RawMaterials Community to discuss over the current state in the Greek and EU raw materials sector\, address the Knowledge Triangle (academia\, research\, industry) in political level\, present tools and initiatives in EU and Greece that act as facilitators for the sector and examine the innovation needs of the Knowledge Triangle. \nFollowing this tradition\, the sixth edition of the event focuses on an issue that for more than three decades has been a key attribute of good industrial practice in various sectors and more pronounced in the extractive sector\, namely the Social License to Operate. The event aims to provide grounds for an open and fruitful dialogue that will approach the significance of this issue in the European context. Towards this direction the discussions will be deployed under three thematic pillars namely: \n\nResponsible Mining & Social Acceptance: A dialogue on policy aspects\nBuilding Trust with Society: A dialogue through Research and Education\nAchieving Social Acceptance in European and Greek RM Ecosystem: A dialogue on best practices\n\nLooking forward to welcoming you online! \nPlease register by 6 December 2021 here. The event will be held in English.

SUMMARY:EIT HEI Initiative Call 2 Online Info Sessions
DESCRIPTION:The EIT HEI Initiative aims to reinforce the competitiveness of Europe by strengthening the innovation and entrepreneurial capacity of HEIs and empowering them to become key actors in innovation ecosystems.\n\n\n\nA Second Call for Proposals will be launched on 18 November 2021. We call for HEIs to create individualised action plans which take a long-term view toward innovation and entrepreneurial capacity. These action plans will be designed on the basis of an HEInnovate self-assessment for each HEI\, in order to drive the choice of Actions proposed for funding and institutional change.\n\nThis webinar will consist of two topics:\n\n\nEligibility\, Evaluation and Administration: We will take you through the eligibility and pre-defined requirements in the Second Call\, in order to clearly present what is expected and answer any questions you may have.\nDefining your Innovation Vision Action Plan – Orientations for a successful proposal: You will receive relevant information on how to best define your project’s vision and prepare an effective action plan to achieve the expected institutional change by unlocking the HEI innovation and entrepreneurship potential of successful consortia.\n\n\n\nThis Info Session will present the HEI Initiative and Second Call for Proposals in more detail. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions to the HEI Initiative Team.\n\nDate of webinar: 7 December 2021\nTime of webinar: 14:00-15:15 CET\nRegistration deadline: 4 December 2021\, 18:00 CET\n\n\n\n\nYou will receive the Zoom webinar link in a confirmation email after registering.
