SUMMARY:Upscaling from Lab to Pilot: A seminar addressing bottlenecks and solutions when industrializing ideas
DESCRIPTION:Scaling up new technology from the lab to industrial process is often a challenging task. Risk can be reduced by introducing a pilot step in process development. In this scientific seminar held in Kristiansand on 22 October 2019\, the 10 partners of the Pilot network Metnet in PROMETIA\, will present relevant cases on up-scaling of technology. \nIn addition\, Chairman of Eramet Ideas\, Laurent Joncourt and Chief Technology Officer of Hydro\, Hans Erik Vatne will share experiences on industrial development and innovation. The seminar is a cooperation between EIT RawMaterials\, PROMETIA and Prosin. \nRegistration and full agenda of the event can be found here. \n

SUMMARY:Mobilität Querdenken 2019
DESCRIPTION:Mobilität Querdenken 2019 will take place on Tuesday\, 22 October 2019 at Poolhouse in Nürnberg and it will address hot topics regarding the current and future mobility transition. \nOne thing is clear: the world of mobility is changing radically and will continue to improve\, not least because of digitisation. But how exactly does this change look like? Are we already in the middle or just at the beginning? What impact does this change have on our society and the fulfilment of our individual mobility needs? Which technologies will be sustainable? Which business models can you build in the future? How can the enormous innovation potential of digitisation be used for mobility? Can it save our environment\, our planet?   \nEIT RawMaterials and our supported startup sustainabill will attend.
