SUMMARY:NordMin workshop 'How to go further in Nordic collaboration in the mining research and education'
DESCRIPTION:The workshop will review the experiences and results gained from recent Nordic collaboration projects\, which covered different stages of the mining value chain. \nIn a roundtable discussion\, representatives of the mining industry will meet financiers to discuss the common funding possibilities for satisfying the Nordic learning and research needs. A special topic is also how to enhance education at different levels\, especially the lifelong learning during professional carriers in the mineral sector. The target is to shape proposals for enhancing education\, which EIT RawMaterials has the possibility to fund. \nThe background for this workshop is the NordMin Network (2013-2017) funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers focussing on sustainable Nordic mining and mineral industry with an impact on green growth in the Nordic countries and Europe.
