SUMMARY:2-day course on Waste Management and Critical Raw Materials
DESCRIPTION:The free 2-day course “WM-CRM: Blended learning course on Waste Management and CRMs” from Ghent University\, taking place on Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 September 2019 at Campus Coupure (Ghent\, Belgium)\, is open for registration. \nThe course focuses on waste management and critical raw materials (CRMs)\, with special attention paid to Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). Nowadays\, the management of critical raw materials is of increasing concern in Europe. A crucial strategy to address their supply risk is improving their recovery at the end of life of products that contain CRMs. In this context\, the course offers a broad overview of these topics and includes practical exercises. \nTo sign up or for any questions\, please send an email to david.sanjuandelmas@ugent.be. The course is free of charge for participants. Lunch\, coffee and tea are included. \nEarly sign-up is recommended due to a limited capacity of 12 participants.
