SUMMARY:POSTPONED - 12th ESEE Dialogue Conference
DESCRIPTION:Please note that this event is postponed!\nWe will keep you informed about the new date of the conference!\n12th ESEE Dialogue Conference\nOn 20-21 May 2020\, the Regional Center Leoben will organize the 12th East and South-East Europe Dialogue Conference (ESEE DC) in cooperation with the European Mining Business Forum in Sofia\, Bulgaria.\nRC Leoben has special responsibility for the ESEE region through outreach\, integration and community building activities\, such as the ESEE Dialogue Conferences.\nThe ESEE Dialogue Conferences are a major raw materials conference series for East and South-East Europe that have successfully addressed issues in the raw material sector in eight countries in the last four years. Our goal is to establish a dialogue with raw materials stakeholders in the ESEE region in order to foster innovation in this economic sector. Over the last year\, we have continuously developed and refined our conference. For more information on past conferences visit our conference website (https://www.esee-dc.eu/) which gives a good overview of the conference series. With eleven successful conferences in our outreach region\, we would like to go new ways to broaden our impact and to share the network of EIT RawMaterials. Therefore\, we are collaborating with the European Mining and Business Forum (EMBF)\, an event that is held at the initiative of Bulgarian Mining Chamber from 2010 onwards (http://en.embf.eu/)\nEMBF is a platform for discussion\, exchange of ideas\, solutions and best practices in all aspects of sustainable development in the sector. The forum aims to show the key role\, importance and place of the mining industry\, to be discussed conditions\, innovations\, policies and the future of this important economic sector of Europe. We believe by joining forces with EMBF valuable contacts\, ideas and discussions from EIT RawMaterials and EMBF will be exchanged and this will serve to jointly leverage the development of the raw material sector in Europe.
