Forum Bergbau 4.0

Conference at the RWTH Aachen addresses opportunities and risks of „Industry 4.0“ for the raw materials sector.
After successful 2015 premiere with over 120 participants from the raw materials sector, the 2nd Forum Bergbau 4.0 will be held on 14-15 November 2017 at Tivoli in Aachen, Germany.
Dr Karen Hanghøj, CEO at EIT RawMaterials, and Dr Tony Hand, Thematic Officer (Mining) at EIT RawMaterials, as well as other colleagues, will attend the event.
Industry 4.0 – under this heading, the Federal Government develops in cooperation with research institutes, trade unions and trade associations a new high-tech strategy, which combines industrial production processes with state-of-art information and communication technology. The Forum Bergbau 4.0 provides and discusses strategic issues, opportunities for implementation as also opportunities and risks for the raw materials sector.
The conference language is German and English.
